digitus 11004 Prob mit ausgehenden Mails & bestimmten Webseiten

#1 Ergänzung: Der Fehler war völlig simpel und hat sich geklärt,

die MTU für T-online ist 1492 und nicht 1429.

Hallo,

ich löse einen DSL-Softwarerouter, einen AVM MPRI unter NT auf einem Pentium 100 durch einen Hardwarerouter ab.
Die Integration vom digitus DN-11004 im bestehenden Netzwerk hat super geklappt, Verbindung ins Internet und Mails lesen klappt auch, nur einzelne Seiten werden nicht angezeigt, zum Beispiel ebay und das versenden von Mails klappt auch nicht.
Das gesammte Handbuch kann ich schon Rückwärts lesen, hilft aber nicht wirklich weiter. Firmware ist aktuell 01.00.08
Sobald ich auf meinen alten Router zurückgehe läuft alles einwandfrei.
Ich arbeite mit fester IP, und es ist ein T-DSL Zugang.

Hat jemand eine gute Idee oder einen Tip??? (wäre echt supernett)
Ich werde das Gefühl nicht los, das ich was banales übersehen habe....

Genau das gleiche Problem habe ich auch, ich habe auch alle Ports freigeschaltet trotzdem funtzt das mit den email nicht und Ebay kann ich auch nicht öffnen!

Die MTU-Size muss auf 1492 eingestellt sein bei T-Online.
Bei AOL ist es 1400.

Werkseitig ist beim Digitus aber 1510 eingestellt.

#5 nur zu Ebay und McAfee Security !


Ebay verwendet Active X, McAfee !!!!!!!!!!!! verwendet Active X sogar für Viren und Firewall Software !
Es geht so :

In den Internetoptionen Mittel oder Niedrig, Stufe anpassen sind ALLE 5 Einträge für Active X zuzulassen, weiters ist in den erweiterten Internetoptionen JAVA in vollem Umfang zuzulassen. (Weiters sollte der Microsoft Family Client installiert sein ?) und dies alles bei der Einrichtung von McAfee Security oder Ebay, dabei darf die Internetverbindung nicht mit dem dem FirewallRouter etc. bestehen.
In weiterer Folge werden Active X und Sicherheitszertifikate (unter besonders vertrauenswürdig) auf den Rechner geladen.

Abschließend darfst Du hoffen, dass später wenn alles wieder auf "sicher" ? gestellt wird und dann der Firewallrouter wieder angeschlossen wird, Dein Ebay bzw. Mcafee Security funktionieren (die Active X Komponenten befinden sich ja nun auf Deinem Rechner)

Mit Ports und Sicherheit hat das allerdings wenig gemeinsam !
Aus diesem Grunde sind z.B. McAfee Produkte schlecht und es häufen sich Fehler, wenn Network Associates nicht Vollzugriff auf Deinen Rechner erhält !

Bei Ebay könnte das ähnlich ablaufen, denn wer sollte schon anonym sein, wenn dort sogar neulich ein Kind zum Verkauf angeboten wurde !

Ebay und sicher ist schwer oder gar nicht zu realisieren !

Was ist ein ActiveX-Steuerelement?
ActiveX-Steuerelemente sind Softwarekomponenten, durch die Webseiten mit speziellen Funktionen ausgestattet werden. Beim Bilderservice ermöglicht das ActiveX-Steuerelement im Verkaufsformular eine Vorschau der Bilder anzuzeigen und Bilder zu bearbeiten, bevor Sie sie übertragen. Wenn Sie den Bilderservice zum ersten Mal auswählen, werden Sie vom ActiveX-Steuerelement aufgefordert, das Programm auf Ihren Computer herunterzuladen.

Bei Deinen Darstellungsmängeln fehlen Dir immer wieder Active X Elemente, das könnte auch bei Deinem Mail Provider sein !

(Du wirst nämlich mit Deiner Firewall gar nicht gefragt, ob Du diese laden möchtest) und falls Doch werden die Zertifikate und Berechtigungen häufig falsch installiert.

McAfee meldet dann bein Hochfahren , dass der Datenträger XY einzulegen sei, das ist der Gipfel schlechten Geschmacks !

Empfehlung : !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (z.B. McAfee)

Um Aktiv X zu aktivieren mit Internet Explorer :
1. Klicken Sie auf "Ansicht".
2. Wählen Sie "Internet Optionen....
3. Klicken Sie auf "Sicherheit".
4. Klicken Sie auf "Internet Zone"
5. Waehlen Sie "Mitte, Niedrig" or "Anpassen"
6. Wenn Sie “Anpassen” waehlen "..."
7. Klicken Sie auf "Einstellungen...".
8. Bei "Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting", stellen Sie "Zulassen" ein.
9. For "Run ActiveX controls and plugins", set it to "Enable".
To enable ActiveX controls in Internet Explorer Version 5 and 6:
1. Select the "Tools" menu.
2. Select the "Internet Options..." item.
3. Select the "Security" tab.
4. Select the "Internet" icon.
5. Click on the "Custom Level..." button.
6. Find "ActiveX controls and plug-ins".
7. For "Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins", set it to "Enable".
8. For "Script ActiveX controls marked as safe for scripting", set it to "Enable".

Der unwahrscheinlichste Fall , Deine Scripting Engine ist hinüber , aber das glaube ich nicht :

Gefahren bei Active X: allerdings nur Englisch !


A distributed denial of service (DDoS) tool of the sort that made headlines this month by enabling intruders to interrupt service at high-profile Internet monuments like Yahoo, Excite and eBay has just been ported to the ubiquitous Win32 kernel, according to anti-virus outfit Trend Micro. The new tool, called Troj_Trin00, is capable of turning millions of Win-NT servers, along with individual Win-9x boxes connected to the Net via broadband connections -- which remain on constantly -- into unwitting clients for launching a spectacular wave of DDoS attacks. Not only can Troj_Trin00 exploit millions more boxes than its forebears could do, it can reach them more easily as well. The tool can be delivered as a trojan joined to seemingly innocuous files; it can be propagated as an e-mail attachment; or it can be installed and executed in the background by a malicious Active-X script. Previous versions had to be uploaded manually to a UNIX server or Linux box via an unprotected port. Port #111 on Solaris systems is a particular favourite, having a known and easily-exploitable weakness. But others can be found and exploited by performing a port scan. Automated tools exist to make it easy for a potential intruder to scan vast regions of bandwidth for vulnerable ports as a background operation, while doing other things, like going out to a movie, say. Easy as that sounds, things are now getting tremendously easier. No longer confined to the UNIX and Linux systems whose operators are at least minimally conscious of Internet architecture and network security procedures, the trojan edition of Trin00 is tailored specifically to exploit the innocent, point-and-drool 'Harry Homeowner' class of user, nearly all of whom depend on Win-9x and its plethora of dodgy default settings to get them connected. Once executed, Troj_Trin00 becomes resident in memory, waiting for the master server file it needs to function. In doing so, it opens port #34555 to welcome the malicious package and subsequent commands. Trend Micro reports that the trojan has already been seen in the wild.
