Virus - Kazaa - WIN32/Hantaner

#1 HI,ich hatte von Kazaa den Win32/Hantaner Virus!
Ich weiß jetzt 1. nicht ob der Virus weg ist oder nicht und 2. kommt immer die Fehlermeldung Windows sockt error.

Ich hab keine Ahnung wie ich das weg bekomme vielleicht kann mir jemand helfen.

#2 installier dir doch NAV (= Norton Antivirus) oder irgendeine aktuelle antiviren software... die wirds dir schon sagen, glaub nicht das du selber jeden einzelnen maschinencode nach einer virenstruktur durchsuchen möchtest oder? *g* -> also einfach antiviren software installieren und du weißt es...

#3 Den habe Virus habe ich auch gerade auf meinem zweiten PC.
Habe mir AntiVir http://www.free-av.de/ heruntergeladen ( ist kostenlos) der hat schon 44 Stück gefunden und gelöscht.

I currently have Win32/Hantaner, i was wondering if you have managed to remove it somehow Heiko. I have AVG virus protection, but it found it once but could get rid of it. Which other virus software would be usefull for me to download? I went to www.free-av.de but didnt know which one to download. Please help guys, I'm worried this virus is dangerous.

Perhaps you only have to erase the Kazaa folder

#8 i would like to thank you guys a lot for helping me even though i am totally new to the page. Im running the online scan now, lets hope it works. Thanks again, ill report in if i manage to get rid of it

#9 Hye i just fininshed the onlinescan and it said it couldnt find anything, however a message still appeared saying that the virus is still on my PC a little later on. The link on joschi's thread doesnt work

#10 The link works fine, otherwise try www.antivir.de . There, on the left side you can choose a link for the english version of that website.
Also, you can download a trial-version of Kaspersky at www.kaspersky.com .
I regret I couldn´t find a single removal-tool for this virus, too bad.

#15 Hi guys i have just got this win32/hantaner virus through grokster today and my free edition of AVG detected it right away, and i did a complete scan and it removed it to the virus vault.
